Yep that was a great day my TL was parked somewhere in the field of ACURA cars.

 

Thanks Chikai for the link...great day it was! I had to hide my TLS next door because it would have won the award for filthest Acura that day!!! I had driven from Boston and the car hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Hopefully this year it will be a different story.

So far every PAA meet has been incredible. Nothing but good times. They really do put on a good show there!

Typically the show is anywhere from mid-May to anytime in June... so I would assume the same is true this year if they are having it again.

Who was the head person coordinating the event over at PAA?

If anybody's in the area could you possibly pop your head in to see if they are planning another event?

 

BTW, last year Astro came from Canada and two years ago KenSteele came from Kansas... so you have no excuse :P

The one and only wayneg would be that person. Typically in the past the times and dates, etc. are usually announced by him around this time.. so if it's still on.. I would expect an announcement soon.

Also keep in mind that him and Jens both still browse the board.. so if they see this they will reply!!

 

I drove from Auburn Hills to Pittsurgh in 5 hours. From here, it's another 6.5 to NYC

If it comes down to it, you can crash at my place if you want to split the drive.

 

a little birdie told me there is another one in the works...another birdie told me it's gonna b held in a HUGE lot away from the dealership b/c we maxed out capacity last year

I’m looking forward to PAA 2003 myself.

Even if the specifics aren’t locked down yet I sure wish they would set the date ASAP so I can be sure I’m free to attend.

i loved last year.

 

It was definitly a sick time, i cant wait for this years event....i just hope if they do have it at the dealership this time i can get there early enough to get a spot in the front.

 

I just hope its not the weekend of June 5. I'll be in Vegas!!!

with the number of new faces since last year on the various sites, i'd say we're gonna have well over 300 people

i e-mailed Sal Z, and he's gonna try and make it up to the meet this time

 

All they need now is to get some of the tuners there (or I guess in our case just Comptech).

Your car would be fine with about 5 coats of Zaino on it. I went up from D.C. last year about 4 hours from Park Ave ACURA with my Nighthawk Black TL .
I had only one coat of Zaino on the car at that time & I ran in & out of moderate rain showers about 3 times before I got there.
I just pulled out the bottle of Zaino Z6 Gloss Enhancer Spray after I got there. But mine was not quite as clean as Shawn S & some other Zainoholics there with 100+ coats of Zaino on

 

I had no coats of Zaino on it...looked what happened after only 7 hours and 450 miles

 

Also, I think this was mentioned this last year, but what about getting someone from Dent Wizard there?

With all my door dings, I will single-handedly make it worth their while. :nj:

 

$150 a panel...if u got all dings on 1 panel, yer in luck, cuz it'll only cost u $150

 

That was a BLAST and I can't wait for this year's meet

 

Called Pete at PAA (Park Avenue Acura) today about my S/C and I asked him about PAA this year. He said that they are still trying to find some place that will be able to accommadate all of us this year.. Maybe the meadows or something.... Relax, he will let us know for sure... Could be in May or June... they are working on it.

this may sound crazy but if PAA would offer a small trophy or something for lets say the best audio/video, or best wheels, or most unique that would really top it off. It will start to be like an Acura CAr Show, hey its not the trophy its the respect to some people its more important.
