There's no confirmation from Acura yet that the CL will be dead. There all rumors for now. Those rumors do say production will end by June/July of this year.

I can't imagine they a) would not replace the car; and, b). make it better, ie-more hp, 6 speed, etc. Surely the TSX is not meant to fill the gap b/c from my point of view, it looks like a 89 Civic!

So Acura can and I believe will be doing this with no replacement in the mean time.

I don't think Honda will spend time and money to redesign the CL. It's just a North-American-market-only coupe with dismal sales number. Potential buyers will have to settle on the Accord V6 coupe, which is not bad of a substitution at all.
An Acura salesman told me he thought the CL would be offered as an 04 but not with manual. At first I thought this was possible but now I'm not sure. Seems like if they do sell it for another year they'd want to offer all existing options that might make a sale. I hope they do drop the manual, then mine will be even rarer!

Prelude was discontinued in 2001. Its replacement did not surface until 2003 as the 6spd Accord. So thats a 2-3 year hole in the Honda line up. And while I personlly do like the 6spd Accord it is still not a true sports coupe, not like the prelude.

. I don't know the accuracy but he said that is what is most likely going to happen.
