Wheel protectors, rear spoiler

I am brand spanking new to this board so please don't flame me yet for stupid queastions!!
I was wondering if anyone has used the rim protectors that used to be available a few years back. I remember seeiing colored rubber tubing that would go around the outside of the wheel and presumably protect the wheels from being 'curbed.'
I also saw a gold CL-S on a used car lot with a really nice spoiler that was about 12" high and 6" deep. I didn't get a chance to go back and check it out before it was gone, but I haven't been able to find one like this in any of the magazines. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry but that description and "nice" are mutually exclusive.

BTW that wasn't a spoiler ... That was the horizontal stabilizer off a Cessna.

Actually, did it happen to say ShopRite or A&P on it? I think there's an APB out for a missing shoppingcart.

(For those of you in the south, substitute A&P with SuperFresh, Giant, etc.)

Bull...and what a stupid name "Kevin" is...

Answers:
1) not sure what the tire protectors are - never heard of them and they have not been discussed on this board.
2) The wing you describe sounds custom - and cheesy in some's opinion (mine included). The Acura spoiler runs the length of the trunk and is about 6" deep and sits 4-5" above the trailing edge of the trunk. BTW, yes, we know it is purely asthetic.

Welcome to the board - you already realize we are mostly a bunch of smart asses.

Or in the west Vons, Ralphs, Stater Bros., Albertsons, etc etc.

Superfresh? Giant? A&P? Shoprite? What kind of whack names are those for grocery stores?
