Guys , I need some pics of a Cl-S w/ a comptech drop and 18" wheels w/ 225/40/18 tires and need to see how the drop looks and want to know will the ride be greatly reduced in quality w/ the smaller tires . I have the springs in allready but not sure if I should get the small profile 18" tires . Pics welcomed also to see the drop .

Sorry I don't have a pic of my 01' CLS, but I had H&R Sport with RH C2 Evo 18X7.5 and 225/40/18's and the ride was not that bad - a little bouncy but with the Comptech's it should be just slightly stiffer than stock.
Which 18" do you want to roll with?

Just a side note: my ride has neuspeed springs on 18's and the ride is sweet in my opinion. I wouldn't have it any other way. Remember, camber on the rear wheels will be off just slightly and if you put adjusters on the rear the tires could rub the fenders a bit. I don't hear about many peeps useing adjusters so its just a side note.

I have 7,000-Miles on my 18” Falken’s and 3,000 on my 16” BLIZZAK Snows which I just took off Saturday.
All are wearing evenly across the face of the tire.
As for the ride, YES it’s somewhat stiffer then the stock 17’s.
The slight loss in ride comfort is worth the added handling benefits.
