Wheel Hop

Are all stock Cl-S supposed to chrip when switching from 2nd to 3rd gear. I see many members say that it chirps from switching from 2nd to 3rd in an auto Cl-S. Mine does not do this, so Im guessing I got ripped off on power??

nah.....chirps have alot do with tread wear, road surface, driver weight, air temp, tire temp etc.,

BTW,
Wheep hop and chirps are different.

uuuh...my CLS wouldn't do it under ANY conditions. Maybe it was a dog? I mentioned headers because seems like after everyone gets them the first thing they mention is how they are able to chirp 2nd gear.

I spin 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I have pretty new stock tires on the front (2-3k, maybe). I think it's my tranny, though, not the tires by themselves.

used to chirp 1-2, once in 3 with my old tranny. Now I have a new tranny and I can't even chirp 1-2 even with headers. go figure.
