i was bored today so i cruised over to maxima.org and i noticed that they dont allow any discussion of street racing?! what the fuck is that all about? i mean, clearly its illegal (hell i just got a racing ticket dropped from my record that i got 2 months ago ) but to flat out BAN all talk of street racing is really pussyish and stupid...is there some reason for that?? i mean, we all know that maxima drivers are into street racing, why does their site not allow the racing talk?? duuuuumb...makes me realize why i like Acura-cl.com even more

 

Yeah, one of the reasons I like this forum is because we can say anything.

I can say FUCK, ASSHOLE, CUNT....whatever, and not get banned or edited

I can talk about street racing, God (does he really exist?) and anal sex (if tmk70 is around) and not get edited.

The other day, I typed "hell" on another forum and got "****" instead. Go figure

 

Well, one thing to keep in mind is that when you have a website such as maxima.org or acura-cl.com, you're using the company and/or car name in the URL. What that tends to do is attract the attention of the corporations. Sometimes those corporations threaten the websites. Now, as far as I know, this has not happened here, but it has happened to others. It's possible that maxima.org was contacted by Nissan and decided to remove any racing related forums and to sensor some words to cover their ass and not get the site shut down. We are pretty free on here... but if big brother stepped in we'd probably have to make some changes too......

 

on the other end of the spectrum is clubGP...over there, there are frequent threads that include gory killing and accident photos, hardcore pornography including penetration, etc...its crazy the stuff that is allowed over there!!
