What do you guys use for tint? How do you feel about it yours? Any suggestions as to the best brand available?

I know SolarGard's Quantum line is pretty slick...a bit metallic in look. So is the FormulaOne Premier.

The Llumar's and FormulaOne Ultima's are more charcoal in look.

I am trying to get my '03 Anthracite (dark gray) CL-S tinted and was wondering what I should go with. One place I was going to do it used Commonwealth tint (never heard of it) but supposedly it's one of the products from the same makers of most films (so the tinter says).

i have FormulaOne and its a-ok.......so far.... for a year.... hahah
mine is just plain black with no metallic.

I don't think there really is any "best" tint...it comes down to what you like...or what you want your car to look like. Quantum in the sig...

 

The best tint BY FAR is Huper Optik! It is a bit on the expensive side, but it is well worth it! Keeps out more heat, UV rays, etc.. than any other tint. It is also much more clear looking out than any other. Trust me, I had Solar Guard and I took it off! To read more about it go to http://www.huperoptik.com. It is a ceramic based tint, so it has absolutely no metal in it like metallic tints.......making it Navi friendly. Well anyways, this is just my 2 cents.....and good luck!

where can i get this Huper Optik tint ??? Anyone in North Jersey area know a good place to get my windows tinted? I'm probably only goin 35%...

 

If your car is Anthracite, then Llumar's Charcoal will look cool. I did my car with the 20% tint. It looks cool and stays cool in this heat.

My tint is 30% all around....and my windshield is 50%......

 

Llumar makes the best tint.

I'd avoid the metallic type tints.

I think they look terrible. Go with the dark tint.

In Phoenix, go to Dan's Auto Reflections at 14th St. and Camelback. I had my CL tinted there. They use Llumar, which is ideal if you are looking for a dark charcoal look. My car is 15% all around and I get plenty of compliments on it. It would cost you $135 out the door.
