yes, once....I've always been told that every .1 you cut off your 60 ft is about .2 off your ET. So if one can cut .3 off the launch, that's about a half a second right there. So maybe with weight reduction, race fuel, and the right temp conditions it's possible. I'm assuming he had the 13/8 with street tires and his 60 ft was 2.2 sec or more. Also, maybe this was a run he did early after SC install, maybe he's found better shift points. We've got guys in A4's running 12.7-12.9 with about 260 whp. So we are making up most of out time in the launch, not with blistering power. These guys are pulling 1.7-1.8 60 ft times.

it comes down to tires. the pontiac GTP guys have their FWD cars modded to 500 whp PLUS and a few are in the 11's at the track. when they go to the track, they put racing slicks on the front. its the only way to get better traction. without racing slicks, its almost a complete waste of time. at least if you are REALLY going for quick times and thats very important to you. FWD is just simply not the correct application for tons of HP. never has been, never will be.

Today, I'll be heading out to CompTech in Sac for a once over on the installation Acura did and a dyno.

You will need to replaces those PS A/S SOOON!!!!!!!!! They barely have enough traction for a slightly modded 6MT.

i would guess you'll need DR's or slicks + high boost pulley and probably an intercooler to get into the 12's. throw an emanage in for good measure.
Ok... here's the dyno results
