What will be the end result of your CL?

I want a new car but i'll still keep the CL until it dies. Hopefully i'll rebuild it and give it to my son one day (assuming i have a son).

I might just drive it until the wheels fall off. I love this car and I kind of figured by the time I get sick of it, the trade-in value will be kinda shit.

Not to mention I kinda want to hang on to something if I invest a lot of money into it (outside of payments for the car, itself)

For right now drive her until the wheels fall off. Once the wheels fall off, put some new ones on...fix her up and keep it moving!

Keep it for life. It's payed off and probably won't be worth much when the time comes for something else. I figure I'll keep it as a second reliable car.

but it would still be the same parts, just on a new "body", so it still would basically be keeping it

I'm only the second owner on mine so I still have champagne dreams of what I want to do plus I haven't owned it for 6 months yet. Intake...check. Rims...check...Coilovers...check...custom turbo build...champagne dream...header and exhaust...another champagne dream. Smacking myself for selling my Avic-Z1 from my Audi priceless.
I plan to never sell this car. Manually tranny cars and diesels stay on the road forever.

i love this car it has everything i need beside AWD or RWD and this is the biggest cons. like yesterday the guy in blue R32 pulled right next to me on the traffic lights and reved his car(i actually like r32 sound) i put into the first then green light... was cold and a bit wet weather. i couldnt get traction untill 3rd gear and i was trying my best. he just gone, left me crying(r32 is AWD) I was thinking about someother cars like g35x or subi STI. but then i found out i love my car again when is dry and when i got some nice rubber which wont last long with my driving habbits... this is what i think. if i could afford two cars but right now i cant the other car would be AWD i think '07 sti. i had a good offer for my car and im not going to sell it. im going to keep it 4ever bc i love it just not so much when is wet...

I hear ya! Man is it cold there. There are like 5 second open skin warnings. My CL warms up real fast, i love it. Mine is paid off so i think i will keep it and use it as a weekend car once i need something bigger.

Almost at 90K, I'm going to need tires soon & then the 105K service is coming up, then I may need a clutch soon too. Idk what I'll do. I'd really like a 03 Z06.

in past year, i've probably dumped about 10gs on my CL on everything combined. and its not worth any where close to that. As of right now, i'm planning on keeping for a very long time atleast if not for life and keeping doing newer things.

My major plans:

6 speed swap, just got done with it.

turbo it soon,

Then eventually remove that setup and do a RWD conversion, probably in a couple of years.

also its not like its my only car. I'll always have a second, third car.

If you want a turbo kit, Ive got one FS soon. I was planning on putting it on my car but its too much for the chassis.
