NGK Iridium IX.

Our cars don't have spark plug wires, if the dealer sold some to you, you got ripped.

I heard Bosch plugs was a bad no no on these engine's. Thats why I went with the denso's. Granted they are 12.99 each but you can get them cheaper on ebay.

Yeah, I've read that too...what source is that coming from? I think it's complete BS, but pretty funny as well. I actually read somewhere that since Bosch is German, they're not meant for a Japanese engine For a NA CL type S, Bosch plat plugs are fine. They lack the BLING factor of the NKG's and Denso's, but they're a perfectly reliable (and inexpensive) platinum plug.

Take 2 identical CLS's and put Bosch plats in one and NKG/Denso Iridiums in the other and I guarantee a difference wouldn't be seen or felt (although I do agree that Iridium is a very promising technology, but it's probably not truly realized in our J-series engines). But some people are willing to spend a lot more for a possible 0.00001% bump in performance and bragging rights, which is all good!!

Oh, and I should also add that those Split-fire plugs iz da shiznits!!! Twice the spark = mad HP!!!

i won't buy plugs from a company that runs a gimmick with multiple ground electrodes.

Point taken. But all companies have marketing departments that use gimmicks to bump performance numbers (i.e UR pulleys adding 20+ to a Honda Accord...PA LEEZE), etc., but that doesn't mean their products are poor quality or don't create results . The Bosch 2 and 4 ground plats probably do have benefits, but none that anyone here is likely to see or feel.

Damn, I sound like a PR guy for Bosch...but you get the point.

I didnt know you were just kiddin sorry killer!! When I need spark plugs I will do the research myself and get the ones that I think will suit the CL best, but good info on the bosch plugs were not good for the engine.
