OK I was reading in an ACURA book my dealer sent me because on my newly purchaced CL ..... and i was looking at a picture of the new NSA that they may make and what did i see behind it ..... looks to me like a "NEW CL"

Looking at it i'ed say it has our 2nd gen grill and the 1st gen headlights .... only 2 doors and sexy written all over it. So look and tell me what you think

Thats the CLX. The prototype for the first gen CL. That car is over a decade old.

super old pic, though it dose look sexy i agree. cant help but think that the cabin is too "bubbly". Are there any other angles of this concept floating around, if there is i know someone around here knows.

How can that be a decade old when the new MDX is in the picture? you sure thats the prototype 1st gen......

Nope... that's not the next gen nsx either.. that's the "Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept"... People hated it so much, acura scrapped their plans and are now redesigning the NSX (again). They way Acura has been, we'll be lucky to see an new NSX by 2012-2014

Well thats some shit! I thought it was resent photo because of the newly nsx in front but it was the first time i have seen it. One can only hope that the 3rd gen takes some of thoes shapes.... IF they have one in the makings.

I think it is a recent pic... I think it's just a photo of a couple of concepts that were designed here in the US that are on display in a H/A office. Honda and Acura used to share a design center in CA, but now Acura is having on of it's own...

The 1st Gen CL was the first Acura to be Designed and Built in the USA... I'd guess that the Advanced Sport concept was also designed int he USA, and that the photo is from the Acura design office... (either the old one in the honda complex, or in the new one. That's why there's a new MDX also in the picture...

Nutshell

acutally they have a bit of a platform for it. they took the s2000 and chopped it up. its a wider longer version. but thats just a testing chassis and body. but if you look on youtube youll find a vid of it at the nurburgring.
