I was just planning the same thing for a trip I'm taking in March...

I'm gonna rent a Diablo or a 360 Modena for a day, and a Viper for 4 days =D

I'm out to Vegas thus Monday for a week-long Vegas trip. Black S2000 for me already reserved it. Don't get a Viper, it's so obvious its a rental because every fat old white guy there rents one. Get something like a Benz because it screams class not mid-life crisis. Then again you're going with your girl which means no new ass so do what you want.

I have found several Diablo's, a 360 Modena coupe and convertible, a bunch of f355s, a 550 Marenello hummers, vipers, vettes, benzo's bimmers but no M's...

 

So how does a black S2000 scream class? It screams I want a tourque-less ride . I don't want any new ass my girl kicks ass just ask the Park Ave crew, she drives stick, loves cars and can probably kick 1/2 the guys asses here

I'm still getting the viper, besides I'm white and not exactly the thinnest guy here LOL so I'm half the candidate to rent one LOL

 

Originally I wanted an M5 or M roadster.... no luck either, That's ok I always dreamed of owning a Viper and since you own a porsche it makes sense your going after the ferrari or lambo

 

What does an Exotic rental run now days?

Back in 92 I rented a Ferrari convertible in Hawaii on my honeymoon.
It was like 400-bucks for a SIX HOUR rental.

And that was in 1992.

Viper I'm getting is $399 first day and $349 each additional.

Your telling me, well have you have seen the ebay Viper? (this guy hangs out on the VCA board, real character)- he made lots of money, then lost it all.....had all sorts of cars, one being a Jag XJ220 that he sold for $150k.

Well, he paid Christian Lassen $160k to paint Dolphins and flames on his Viper.

 

AND YOU THOUGHT THE VIPER WAS BASTARDIZED. heh
