What do you think?

These decals are the same size. The rear looks right, but I think I should reduce the side. What do you think?

The side is definitely too large. How about 1/4 of that size?

Despite the fact you didn't use the official Acura-CL.com font...

I REALLY, REALLY LIKE IT!

But I agree with ken... the side window sticker needs be be at least 1/2 that size... if not 1/4.

If you need the "Tahoma" font we use I will send it to ya. What font did you use by the way? Its not one I even have.

Thanks for this bro! We all appreciate it.

Soopa,

ARGH! That is "tahoma.ttf" according to the catalog in my layout package. But after your comment I checked it against the logo in the upper right hand corner. DOH!

Send me your font file. I'll get it fixed!

Lookin' good. At least someone finally got the ball and is running with it. Reduce the size of that sucker and I'd buy a sticker.

Kinda reminds me of an Adidas symbol (Dont ya think?).......But im definately liking it!!! I also agree that it needs to be a bit smaller...for both the back window and the sides IMO. I would definately like to get like 4 of the finished product. Just let me know when. Thanx a lot Rock Dog.

Except for the side sticker being too big, it is very nice. Show that acura-cl.com pride.

1/2 that size sounds good to me. Or whatever works out to be 0.5 inches high. That's the size of my sticker.

Thanks RD!

well, i am glad that u are makin the stckiers, but i still dont like the font. I would have liked the acura font or the font of the old acura=cl.com stickers. I thnk the lowercase letters arent that attractive.

Agree with everyone here...definately need to be smaller. I like the ones URIX has. Great size and font. Nice and slick. BTW, ROCK, you're the man for stepping up and doing this!!

I agree with soopa, change it to his font and make it a little smaller. Then you will have a real winner!

Rock Dog nice work! As eveyrone else said "smaller would be better".

On the colors though can you have some RED ones made? I have the red CLS and i think red stickers would look better than silver, chrome or gold on a red car. JMO.

Thanks and keep'em coming.

If I recall correctly, on a previous post it was mentioned that these stickers will need to be applied from the outside.

I think you said that IF one (like myself, for example) wanted to apply them from INSIDE the car, that they would need to be printed out in reverse. Is that correct and is that easy to do??

I would be interested in one or two side-window type stickers applied from inside. I have 35% tint and I think I would want the gold material.

If you are making up other samples, please include the gold in your line-up.

Thanks in advance!

If you have tint... then you will want a sticker that mounts to the outside of the window. If you mount it inside it will not show through the tint.

why would you wanna mount stickers on the inside if you have tint..........how would you take it off after a while its been on there you'll mess up the tint....it doesnt make sense to put them on the inside with tint

As far as applying the decals to the inside of the car. It is an option best suited for those without tint. Say a year from now Soopa suffer from a psychotic break, and the site goes down. You will probably want to remove the decals from your car. THE TINT IS COMING WITH THEM! It's up to you.

These things are very thin, 7 mils I think. They are also very durable. The color will fade in time, but it's take a couple of years at the least. You folks in the hotter climates will see it sooner. So they are not going to be a big deal, applied to the outside of the windows.

The colors will definitely be Red, White and Silver. I mention Gold and Chrome as a possible option for the guys like Shawn S. Right now I am trying to get as close as I can to the actual paint shades of the car.

Once I get everything squared away I'll start compiling orders.

just assuming i could very well have a break-down one day having to moderate people like NJType-S and CLpower... I assume its easy to remove these stickers if need be? Is each letter seperate or are the printed on a clear backround with all of them attached?

(Dont worry Im just kidding... the site isnt going anywhere... breakdown or not )

They are seperate letters. They can be removed with a blade. But you might have to scrape the goo a little, and I do mean, a little. Using a hair dryer to heat them a little makes it much easier and cleaner. There is usually no residue left behind with this method.

Dog,

I was thinking last night. You will probably want to make sure that they are not too long so that they fit into a business envelope - I would hate to have you have to get a larger envelope and postage, etc.

Did you handle the "extreme" problem?

Yes sir, I am waiting for some sample material from a supplier. There are a number of different shades of each color and I want to get it as close as possible. I expect it anyday now. You have to buy this stuff in bulk so I don't want to waste money on something that will collect dusk on the shelf.

I sent a white sample to one of the board members. It should arrive today. There are 3 different sizes. As soon as I get feedback i mayt be able to start shipping the white.
