What do you guys think of this grille?....

The material came from a specialty hardware store, it was a 3'x3' piece of thin aluminum. It cost about $20. To do the install all you need is a little bit of skillz and SilverKnight's instructions, do a search for them.

I don't know if it's the angle of the first two pictures or the glare of the lighting, but I only like the last picture (the close up). The first two look like a spray-painted nylon stocking streched tightly across the opening.
The top two pictures don't do justice to the up-close view. I also think it might look better in black than silver even on a silver car...my $.02.

that is SMOOOOTH man!
Clear the corners, and you have one gorgeous looking car...
Not sure if heat buildup in the engine bay will play a role though?
are the holes in the grill porous enough?

It's hard to tell by the pics but i think the air flow is fine. i'm not sure if i will keep it like this for too long, i have some other cooler ideas. i may go ahead and paint this grille a darker color for kicks though. or maybe body color...along w/ my mirrors.

airflow really shouldn't be a problem as long as the bumper intake remains unblocked...

its not that tough to make a grill guys,
all you need is patience and some tools
screwdriver, shears to cut the chicken wire/aluminum mesh
If you're prepared, I'd say 1hr., if not max 2hrs.
and it does look BUTTER for a silver car...
a very futuristic/new age intergalactic space ship look.
just need a fog machine, some strobe lights, plus scantilly clad bikini girls and you're set to shoot a B-movie.
