What to do - New Purchase

Ok, so here are my options:

Get an anthrocite 6 speed on a dealer trade from PA (will have 100 miles when it comes in) or just take the silver one on the lot with no miles.

The anthrocite has wing, mud guards and wheel locks for $30,000.
The silver would just be with the wing for $30,000.
Or just wait for a white one to come in with black interior.
What would you do?

The silver should have a black interior? Also... 30K without the navi is too much!

Anthracite is much nicer then silver. I'd wait for that one. Everyone and their grandma has a silver car, I'd go with the color that is a little more unique.

I wouldn't fret too much over a dealer trade with 100 miles - I did the same thing in April. It seemed that each dealer only had one or two six speeds on the lot and if you wanted a specific color combo you'd be doing the dealer trade thing. I spoke to three dealers all with the same story and ended up just getting the car from the local dealer. I got the impression that all the northeast Acura dealers are in cahoots with each other.

The six speed manual has a limited release (supposedly only 2700 were made) and rumor has it that each dealer was only entitled to keep two on the lot at a time, hence the dealer trade crap.

With Navigation a new six speed has a MSRP at about $33200 and supposed invoice at about $30650. Subtract about $2150 if you are not getting the Navigation. Remember: negotiate up from invoice, not down from MSRP.

Spoiler is your choice - I think it lists at around $650.

Mudflaps - I'd make them pay for it, or buy it yourself (if you really want them) at www.ahmotor.com for pretty cheap. Same goes with wheel-locks.
