The trunk tray is a large plastic liner that keeps crap off of the carpet in the trunk. Highly recommended. The cargo net is a bungee type net, which attaches to many hook provided in the trunk, and is for securing stuff in the trunk. It has some many attachment loops, I have not bothered with it. I would have perferred a cargo net that spans the trunk, like my minivan has.

This one is a bit too complex.
By the way, don't mention them until you are at the very end of the dealing process, then ask to have them tossed in n/c. that how I got them.

I posted pix last week on how to put it in. It's actually pretty cool. It keeps stuff (like my briefcase) from sliding around in the trunk.

I duno... I think the cargo net rocks! holds everything in place...

you can actually haul shit around while driving like a bat outta hell!

There are 2 really convenient configurations of it... one is to let it span across the trunk... so it creates a pocket in the middle and two larger seperations of the trunk on either side...

Your you can attach it to the whole floor of the trunk to hold large things down like suitcases and what not.

I dont have the trunk tray... its useles unless you hold lots of messy shit in your trunk... like potting soil... liquids etc.

Remember though, the trunk tray & the cargo net cannot be used together! Unless of course... you cut holes in your trunk tray where the hooks for the cargo net are.

I totally agree. The net is awesome and keeps my groceries and other stuff from moving around. I don't use the floor attachments, just one on each side and the two in the rear. I attach only the extended loops, not the short ones. Works great!

The tray is for those that actually haul heavy or messy stuff a lot, I don't.

the cargo net comes standard with the 2001 clp and cls. no extra haggling necessary...
