what car should my g/f get

Okay here's the deal guys. My girlfriend knows I'm a car freak and she want's to take me "car shopping" but she wants to get a car no one else in the area has. She likes the new what I call "Cheap-o" Benz(its like 25 grand). right now she has a older style Lumina sedan(V-6 3.1)
I tried to Suggest the for her to wait on the 03 Accord but she doesn't want to wait. Then I suggested the new Si but she doesn't want something that small plus it's a stick. anyhow she lives in a small town and drives(guessing)25-30 miles of country roads to work(this is why i don't like the Benz cause in the winter it's rear wheel drive and I don't think she's drove a rear wheel drive car in an Ohio winter.) personally on snow/ice I like either Front wheel drive or all wheel drive cars. thats the reason I think I'm gonna suggest the Subaru 2.5 RS sedan I priced one FULLY LOADED(almost every option for 23 or 24 grand)(does anyone know anything about these cars do they hold up well)
and no the typical chick car of a VW Bug out of the question cause there's people that have that in the area.
she wants to check out VW. I like the GTi with 1.8 turbo 180 HP with Automatic. I checked that one out online fully loaded(with leather AND 17S for 23 grand)
but the one I like out of ALL The cars I could think of that's "cool" but yet hardly anyone around here has is new Altima would be an awesome choice for her. I've heard of some BAD ASS altimas
i priced one online(3.5 V-6 SE version "okay equipted") it was 25 Grand. give me some ideas for other cars guys

I know she'll hate that color man sorry. we saw a newer Ford ranger thats what i call "copper" color(it's kinda of a redish brown) she's like man that's ugly color. even though she'd probably have the sweetest car at work

I know what you mean... I love the color but my wife has always hated it. It certainly is a love/hate thing with this color...

yeah there's very few people that think that color "okay" they either love it or hate it
Personally i think it's okay(i mean it isn't great) but I know the car will toast most stock imports on the road. but chicks want the car to be "cute or cool"

That cheapo Benz, I'm assuming it's the C230 hatchback? That's not a bad car for the money. It's fairly fast (supercharged!), can be manual transmission and is a Benz, at least in name. In reality, it supposedly don't meet the built quality for a "real' Benz, which isn't saying that much since The Merge. I've heard it frequently described as a chick car and I don't think it's that common.

However, if you've got 25 K to spend and have to deal with winters, and if you want a car that isn't too common yet, how about a WRX?

This guy who's my neighbor has one of those C230's and what a rip-off Benz... No leather, no xenon’s, basically no real options that make up a Benz (and too small a car for a guy IMO)... and the look on his face when he sees my fully optioned out CL... PRICELESS

After reading your paragraphs my suggestion for your girlfriend's next car would be

2002 Acura RSX/RSX Type S
2003 Honda Accord sedan/coupe if she can wait
2002 M-B C230
2002 Audi A4 1.8T
2002 Nissan Altima 3.5SE

In my opinion WRX is too manly, not too good for a girl, but just my idea.

Audi A4 1.8T

The more I look at the more I look at the A4 1.8T the more I think it would suit her style of driving. a spunky enough motor for her but yet All wheel drive
forget the Mini-cooper I'm 6 ft 4 300 lbs I would look like a NFL Linebacker in shoulderpads in a Mazda Miata . Hell I could push in the clutch with my fingers i'd probably that "cramped"
She acted like she wants to put 17 or 18s on it with a SWEET ASS system. so a Cooper with 17 or 18s would looked WACKED although I don't thinked I've seen a pimped out Audi. Plus I don't know of anyone around here with an Audi.

DANG a 2002 (new) CL type S for 26 Grand. That's worth looking into. Now if she gets that I might have me a wife (cause I was saving toward a TL type S)(I might just pimp out her car if she'd let me drive it when i'm over put some 18s on it and a AEM cold air intake and a few other goodies )

you want unique and cool?

I suggest

1: VW Passat, great chick car that's just a great car all around
2: Hyundai Santa Fe, if she's considering an SUV, don't laugh at the badging, it's selling like hot cakes and there's actually a waiting list for them
3: Suburu Impreza 2.5 RS, the wrx is only stick and too boy racerish. the Impreza AWD is awesome in snow and parking lots around the turns, but ugly and more for moms w/ kids
4: Audi S8, if she's got 90 grand.
5: BMW 745Li, if she's got another 80 grand

Nah, it was a 2002 cl type s with 500 or so miles.... NOT A DEMO. It was a leftover, people started buying the 03 model (which I didn't like as much) So I called every dealer around, finally my boy PE @ PA hooked us up. 26.5, otd price was + 3k or so, but I was still pretty happy with it.

SO now our drive way looks kind of funny... white cls + silver tls!!!
