What to Buy In Addition to XS Power Headers?
Is there anything else that I need for the install like new gaskets or anything like that? I just want the install to go as smooth as possible without any leaks, etc. And in addition, are any pulleys worth getting? I have searched and searched and read so much conflicting data, some people saying how unsafe pulley's are, etc. I'm probably going to purchase a Comptech S/C in the next 6 months or so.

Not Asian
You should be fine using the existing gaskets. Yes, the UR pulleys are worth it. Not really any conflicting data on those on this site. If you are getting the s/c, you should get the stock diameter crank pulley, UR Sc. I would also get the Mugen cooling mods and thermoblok spacers.

Hey man I see your from DE... my parents live in Bear and I'm down there every weekend. I just ordered some headers from http://xs-power.com/honda/honda027.html for $97 shipped. I've heard that you gotta get some better bolts b/c the ones that come with them suck. I also plan on getting a CAI, I just don't know if I should go w/ AEM V2 or Comptech Icebox.

I am also installing my XS power headers in about 2 weeks and i'm just getting everything ready. I already bought a new pair of manifold gaskets and 6 new bolts, locking washers and nuts to replace the ones that came with the headers. And 3 new cat nuts.
My question is do i need anything else??? Should i buy new cat bolts or new bolts to connect the headers to the head or just reuse the cat and manifold bolts????
And i also need to know the exact size of the bolts needed to connect the headers to the head and the downpipe to the cat.
Thanx Guys

failhard.
I've heard about how pulleys will fuck your engine up and brought it to AZ's attention .. I got my e-ass ripped apart by almost every person's reply about how false the accusation is.
Pulleys will be fine.
Pulleys will be fine.

You'll need to re-torque everything after a few days of driving.
There's lots of threads on XS header installation if you do a search. Best of luck

I used 10x30mm stainless steel nut and bolts w/ lock washers for the headers to the A pipe. You can also use 10x40mm bolts if you like. Spray the cat nut and bolts w/WD40 or equivalent and let it sit for a while. Another important thing to remember is don't tighten down any of the exhaust components until you have the whole system in place, leaving everything "loose". Then, when you have everything set, start tightening down the header to head locking nuts, from the inside nuts out. then the header to A-pipe nut and bolts, then the cat locking nuts. When everything is torqued down, start your car and check for leaks.
