Went to the Track

Hey what's up tonight Mark (goldtypes) and Justin (nootch) and I went to the track. Nootch didn't run but mark and I ran 7 times each. It was great we got there at 6 got right in track opened at 7 we actually got 6 races done in less than an hour, then it started to get busy so we stopped aftetr 7 at 8:20pm.
The only problem was the temp was so high. Our first run right around 7pm was 90 degrees and by 8:20 it only cooled to about 86-87. So we lost a lot of power just by it being so warm. Gonna go back in Jan when it is like mid to upper 50s at night.
Anyhow the first two runs we didn't run each other but the last 5 we ran. Of course Mark beat me he has a type S with headers and intake and i'm a stock CL. He said he is dynoing approx about 285HP. so that's a good 60 more than me too. Anyhow the differences was like .38-.45 each time we raced. I had good RT's though. My RT's were like .66-.85, Mark was going more neat 1. So the races were pretty close I always had hit up to 55-60 then once we go into third he just took over and beat me.
From out first runs to our last runs we both knocked off about 2 to 3 tenths of a second.
My first run was at 90 degrees, with 3/8tank
15.8 @ 89.40 mph 60' was 2.47 RT--> .855
My last and best run was at 86 degrees with 1/4tank
15.6@89.65 mph 60' was 2.387 RT--> .774

Mark's last run was his best at 86 degrees
15.1@90.10 mph 60' was 2.334 RT--> 1.149

I got him off the line but he caught up so he was beating me by a car or a little less down the quarter. I bet if we stayed till 1100pm when it gets down in the 70s we could have knocked off another couple tenths of a second.

All in all was a fun night.

Oh the guy called our cars Infiniti's at first
He couldn't pronouce our last names
And the last time we went up he goes here come those Acura's again hahah that was pretty cool.
I had the chrome rims gleaming and Mark was PDG.
You know what was nice, we had the quietest cars there it was great. I rather have my car than run a second or second and a half faster and get a headache from driving it. Pure Luxury.

Oh BTW new maxima was only running upper 15s

Well my best is a 6.85 at 70 degrees. DOn't know about Mark.

Tonight we just did 1/4 mile at the track.

Normally when the temp is 85-90 degrees my 0-60 is about 7.1-7.25 range.
