Well...here are painted body kit pics-still more work to be done
i hate people who post when the job is incomplete, however I think that this will please everyone. the upper grill is going to be designed in the same fashion as the lower grill. the lower grill actually has some work to be done. the rear is done....the side skirts still have a lil touch-up before placement but the concept is obviously the same as the other TL side skirts except there is a small grill flare at the rear end by the whele well (allows air to contact the brakes from the side). So I hope you all enjoy and I will progressively be posting more pics.

Well that grill material is being used to do the upper grill. The meshing is part of the agreed price, so I can take it or leave it. I plan on also having a regular mesh fitted for the spot so if i want to change it I can. There is a lli more details to the mesh that they want to add so it may look nicer...like I said I will take suggestions and there will be more to be changed and when the interior is redone i think there be bricks of shit all over.
As for the sides-they arent complete so they will be on in a week-they are working on the interior and then it will go back to body shop.

They installed the front lip 3" lower than where it should be, making the big mouth effect. If AcuraJL dropped that car w/ springs, the front spoiler would be 1" off the ground.
Looking from the front, the car is very likely on stock springs.
Mine lip spoiler is 3" off the ground, so AcuraJL would be kissing the ground w/ drop springs.
Good luck w/ your mods AcuraJL...

Its funny that you mention that CharlesNguyen--they already have told me that they have yet to fix that dilema, like I said in the very beginning (which everyone apparently doesnt read-these are some pics with more work to be done- i just know several people where getting ansy and wanted to see them) i guess when the entire project is complete i will post more pics-that way i dont get ripped for showing things that have been done.

If U told them to fix the front lip a while back, they should have done it before bondo & paint. Kind of stupid of them, now they got to re-do, prep, & paint... What a waste of time...

should have dropped the car 1st..not last. The rear pipes appear to be touching the body too; not a good thing. Other than that I like the back, just not a fan of the front. Car looks like big cheese grater like tm said. You should see if they still have the piece they cut out and bondo that shit back in there.

I'm with the crowd on the front mesh... I'm not really feeling it. I do believe that if you plan on using a mesh for both lower and upper grills, I would suggest using a smaller mesh as opposed to the fence material your body shop used:P
Or just screw the mesh... and FMIC (front mount inter-cooler) that shiz

Hey, props for trying something new. But I think the mesh is making the front of the car look way too big. I also agree with Charles that the bodyshop should have known better then to finish up the front lip before you are completely happy with it. It's just more Jail time for your CL instead of being able to enjoy driving and showing it off on the road. IMO.

I like the kit , but get rid of the mesh. It would look better with nothing at all than to have the mesh...It just makes the car look cheap & riced out.

Well everything is a test so to speak so I think I am going to be taking off the front grill when the Cmptech intercooler comes out. It was a nice shot yet we may add some "filler" to reduce the "big mouth". There is no real waste of time here because there is other stuff that is being worked on interior wise while the outside is being done. I am in no hurry for the car back so TIME is not an issue but premier looks is so.....more trial and error to come.

acutally, the front looks kinda WACK...get rid of the chicken wire!!!LOL....i think alot of pple here think ur shit looks sick(nasty)...no offense...but u need to get rid of that kit, or least get a refund or redo the back...the bottom is "fugly"

All of this is so funny to me...all you have to do is talk *ish about the kit and the length of time ...etc......I agree about the cheese grater effect, however is you see the car from farther away it really doesnt have that effect. I know all of this stuff has taken a long time but I HAVE that TIME. After going to HIN I realized that this kit is not bad at all-if I took off the grill everything would be fine. The tires will and rims fill make the exterior all come together. So f*** you all for flaming and not giving credit for attempting this whole process!

hey MAD PROPs for the effort!!!!!!
i had a lip mold it on to my stock bumper before .... i actually mold it the same way as u did.. UNDER the bumper..instead of on the bumper...
i assume ur going to lower ur car... u r gonna scratch the bottom of the front lip occasionally, and after a while the place where the lip and the bumper connects is going to crack a line.... worst of all.. from the pix... i think they cut the middle part of ur stock bumper.. so once the molded place starts to crack.. then ur going to have to get a new front bumper.
that s y i told all my friends who have bodykit on their TLs NOT to mold their bumper....
just my .02
