Well another one bites the dust

As a long time original member of this board, I am happy and sad at the same time. I leased a new G35 Coupe today. 6MT, red with beige leather, performance package and premium package with the aero kit. I pick it up tomorrow night. I thought seriously about getting a 6MT Cl-S but I really don't want FWD again for my daily driver. I have my old reliable Explorer for bad weather days.

Others have had problems with their CL's but I have had nothing but good luck except for some stupid niggling problems such as hairy seats and the like. No serious mechanical problems at all. My Xephyr CAI performed until the end. My CL goes back at the end of July so I'll be able to get a good clear comparison between the two.

Guess I hafta go find a G35 forum now........

sweet car, congrats! 6mt.net is a good g35 site. Also, at my350z.com there are a bunch of g35 drivers; even a forum dedicated to it.

I'm thinking about one too. How much are you paying a month? down payment? mileage per year? etc?

$2500 drive off, $487 per month, 12K miles per year. I am oleasing it from Ramsey Infiniti. They called yesterday and wanted to make some end of the month deals. I asked "For June?" and she said "NO, May". So I am leasing my car on May 34!

Infiniti has never seen this many customers before, they better stock up on the snacks and juices.

No more. No more.

I can't take it.

All I know is that if the G35 was around when I bought my car I'd be driving a G35 right now.

Must wait for new CL. Must hang on.......

Good Luck,,, post any comparisons,, I too have been on this board to long,, I have nearly 50k on my car and still plan on 200k,,, Dam Nissan is really making it hard to keep my commitments,,, hopefully by the time I need a new car the 3rd gen G35 will be out,,, and Acura will have a 400hp model,,, you got to love the automotive compatitions,,,, just look at Honda motorcycles,,, they design whatever it take to beat the other guy,,, cars are the same with them it just takes longer.

Good buy! Try not to enjoy driving it too much, or you'll pay... literally.. (12K/yr lease on a fun car is tough)

Gorgeous Car ! Congrats

I need to go drive one just for the heck of it; I know I'll like it, but Alas, I won't be able to trade. I'll be keeping my CL-S for a Few years to come.

Hey, I ain't going anywhere. Christ this is like family. I only did 12K cuz that's all I drove on my CL and I leased it at 15. I turn it in next month and it can have 52,500 and I currently have 37,500, Gotta do a lotta driving in 45 days!

I picked it up tonight and my gf followed me home in the CL. We were playing on 287 and it was fun. I gotta get used to the tight gearbox. I kept shifting from 5th into 4th! (only about 60MPH). What a ride though. It sucked tonight because as you east coasters know we have had rain, rain, and more rain. Yesterday was beautiful. I went to Reading PA today and it started to rain on the way back. I hate picking up a new car in the rain. But.....the baby sits in the garage tonight and for the first time in 3 years, the CL sits outside. It's wondering WTF did I do?
