weekend project

hey everyone,

haven't posted in a long time so i thought i would share some pictures of what i did to the ride. been raining a lot here in portland but the sun came out this weekend so i took advantage. here's what i did.

- wetsand the headlight housing
- added halos (80mm)
- added 6000k D2R bulbs (super vision hid)
- adjust beam (probably should have done this along time ago when i lowered the car)

with low beams on

halo & parking lights

nice sharp cutoff

almost as good as projectors

this took a few hours to do but well worth it when i'm driving down pitch black roads. i got the hids from amazon for a super good price. not sure how long they will hold up but so far so good. to me they look much brighter then stock.

also the halos caught a few stares which is always nice. i don't think they have any idea of what i'm driving since the ride is debadged and all. normally most people put two rings in each housing and i bought the 120mm ones, but after looking at the shape of the housing i didn't feel that they matched so i scraped the idea and just stuck with highbeams only.

Nice cutoff.

I never adjusted mine since I slammed it...so lazy!

Maybe I should do that.

Yea, usually I don't like halos on anything but bimmers, but thats nicely done. I would wire them to turn on with the lowbeams though if it were me.

I used to think the two halos would still be better that only having one... but you've convinced me, that looks awesome.
