Wear indicator for A/C & Alt belt?
Wear indicator for A/C & Alt belt?
Can some one who knows or can find out, from a Helms manual, tell me if the A/C & Alt. belt has a wear indicator? I was looking down into the automatic tensioner area and there appears to be a mark cast into the arm that's between a slotted set of marks on the tensioner housing.
Blower is great, people can here it under the hood alittle, chicks really dig it
, I also just installed my Mugen cooling sys. stuff and the trans cooler goes on Sunday. I know pretty crazy to go with out the cooler this long, I guess I got one of the good trannies, it's still running excellent.
One problem though, when the A/C comes on the tensioner starts vibrating and making noise. Twenty different reasons come to mind, have any other s/c'ed cars had this happen? I'm gonna start cheap by replacing my belt. Anyone have any ideas?
