Way to turn "road lamps" (fog lights) on/off separately?
Don't see a switch for just the fog lights on the CL-S... is it possible to turn them off when the other lights are on?
Just wondering because I saw someone else mention they keep theirs off so they don't burn out so quickly or whatever, but I don't know how they keep theirs off if there isn't a switch.
I even read through the owner's manual to no avail.

Jrock, you need to wire a fog light switch yourself in order to run the roadlamps/foglamps independently. The HELMS manual will tell you how to do that. www.helminc.com

Yes there is a switch that you can buy from ether: autocarparts.com or from acura parts dept.
If you plan to get it from acura just ask for the MDX fog light switch and, under autocarparts.com look for the inspire fog light switch.

I have it installed and it works great. Turn them on at any time, as long as the car is in at least aux mode.

To avoid posting a new thread I figured I'd post on here since im attempting to do the same install. Okay so I bought the 02 road lamps, 03 TL Switch, and got my hands on an OEM wiring harness for the switch. Today I attempted to do the install but seem to have ran into some wiring problems because my switch won't come on. I read numerous threads here and thought I had it all figured out but need some additional help. I didn't want to tap into the cruise control wires so i tapped into the aftermarket Radio HU wire harness for ground, ACC Power and Illumination. I know it was more work but I've done numerous HU installs so I'm well familiar with the wires. I also installed the relay in the fuse box area. So here's how I wired it all up:
Pin 1 (white/blue): Joined to Pin 85 from relay and connected to HU ground wire.
Pin 2 (blue/red): Connected to Pin 86 on Relay
Pin 3 (white/red): Joined to Pin 4 and connected to ACC wire from HU.
Pin 4 (red/blk): Joined to Pin 3 and connected to ACC wire from HU.
Pin 5. ( Red): Connected to Dimming wire from HU.
Relay:
Pin 30: To battery 12v with 20a fuse.
Pin 87: To road lamps.
Pin 85: To Pin 1 on Switch (ground)
Pin 86: to Pin 2 on Switch (output)
Do I have something wrong ?
