Warranty about to expire...
Warranty about to expire...
So I am at 49,500 miles, meaning my original warranty will be null and void in about a week and a half. While I am not experiencing any major problems (knock on wood), I hear squeeks and rattles and I was just curious if I could take the car in to my dealer (Acura North Scottsdale) and have them look it over before the warranty is up. Is this something that anyone else has tried with success?
Thanks.
Thanks.
You can't really take it in and tell them to check over the entire car. If you have a specific complaint, they will look at it, and repair it if necessary. You can take it to a local mechanic and have him inspect every thing and see if something is broken. Acura will charge you an arm and a leg to do that.
Or, if I were you and you're that concerned about it, purchase an extended warranty. That's what I did. It was worth it to have piece of mind.
