WarpSpeedPerformance headers Update and other new stuff...

I was just on the phone with Warpspeedperformance, I talked to the guy who makes the headers. he was very friendly and informative.

I would say we should offically contact warpspeed for a possible "official release event", dyno and a possible group buy

Here is the latest info:

V6 headers:

1) V6 headers are being tested for clearance and quality control
2) Clearance issues have to resolved before the headers could be realeased
3) Headers are expected to be released in the next 2 weeks ( I would say make that, 1 month )
4) The headers should fit V6 Accord, TL/TL-S, CL/CL-S

New products:

Sub-frame connectors like those:

Not to be too cynical about those guys but they basically told me the same thing last March...

Uh what about that other company that was supposedly making headers for us? DCSports? Greddy? Who was it again?

You keep bringing us these updates, NNH, but we still haven't seen any of them come to fruition yet.

Thanks for the updates though.

We should have to arrange for initial batch order ( group buy ) just to give those "Maxima tuners" a reason to make headers for the V6.

Please try to come up with some postive idea to support the cause, we all know that those guys have annouced the V6 headers for more than 1 year...

Just by keep calling their 1-800 number and coming up with a dyno event and initial group buy can leads to great results...

It is greedy that is making headers for the CLS/V6-Accord,

Greddy is a Top notch tuner, I would say it would surpass Comptech and the low cost WarpspeedPerformance in terms of quality and maybe performance.

I will not be surprised if the greedy headers will cost as much as comptech's. Again their headers would be top notch.

I dont know why Muguen does not make headers for inspire.. which would be a direct fit for the V6 engine.

I would have been interested if I didn't have the comptech's

also im sure the subframe connectors would help in cornering and stuff but my car is already too stiff.

In that thread I posted above, they didn't just announce them nearly a year ago, they told me they'd be available for purchase in a couple weeks from that date. I really hope I'm proven wrong and the headers are actually available in two weeks as they said as I'll be in line with everybody to buy them.

i'd consider switching my choice from comptech to warp speed if perfmance was better and the price was cheaper.

Not exactly Warpspeed on delivering on their promises.

I just called again today. I talked to Dallas from Warpspeedperformance and proposed the idea of a dyno day event and "initial groupbuy" order.

He said "a dyno test what we usually do for our headers for the maximas and the jeepps" He added he has to consult with his brother and I shoould call him sometime tommorrow morning...."

I will keep you posted.

I'd be interested in a set of headers as long as the price and gains are good. I need to see the numbers before I commit.

I agree with the masses here... I need to see some dyno numbers before I commit. Once they have some HP numbers and they tell us the price, then we'll see if it's worth it.....
