Wacky Jack

After I had that flat tire on Saturday, I stuck the jack back in its hole. I can't seem to secure it in there. It doesn't appear to have a threaded hold for the bottom to go in. How does this work? The manual tells me how to take it out, not how to put it back in.

Turn the screw on the jack to open it up some so that it wedges itself in its cubby hole. Not too hard though.

I now understand... I thought the bottom screwed into something that I couldn't see. Makes sense.

How well did the jack work? Our CL is a big car, did it look a bit wobbly on the jack?

That donut spare looks fairly pathetic. Any problems driving on it?
I am thinking of buying another rim just to have a full size spare.

Would the full-size spare fit in the trunk?

I think it would fit in the recessed floor opening, but I doubt the carpeted cover would fit back on top.

The jack worked fine. Just make sure you have the parking brake on. The last thing one needs is 3,500lbs comming down on one's fingers. Also don't forget to loosen the lug nuts half a turn before lifting.
I was a bit nervous when the car was up, I made sure I was in a position to make a quick dash in case that jack deceided to quit. It was a front tire and it actually steered a bit easier. Obviously because the little spare was lighter. I kept it under 45 for that quarter mile to Sears.
Just be's sure you don't be crepin' on gravity because that's not phat. Gravity will bust a cap in yo a$$ first chance it disses. If dat ride creeps on you or your ho's fingers it's your bad, and payback's a monster. The jack be's phat but tiny.
Don't like my attitude on slang? Get used to it.
