vsa off button, switch or toggle?

just wondering if it's an on/off switch like the cruise control, or more computer controlled toggle (hold x secs and it activates/deactivates, like the moonroof buttons)

i'm looking to reroute some wiring to it (hi-beams)

thanks

I'm not sure what you are trying to do when you seay to reroute hi-beam wires to it, but to answer your question, I'm pretty sure the VSA switch is only an on/off switch.

On/off. You can also use a TL fog light switch for your purpose. That would be a better way to go.

I have it installed & setup for my fog lights.

if it is on/off it serves me better;
i want to install fogs on a TL fog switch, high-beam control to the VSA switch, and the regular high beam switch to bi-xenon hahahah..

we'll see what happens, but if it's an on/off switch, doesn't that mean that if you turn off VSA and restart your car, it's still off? doesn't seem to make sense to me (seems like a switch that completes the circuit but remains off when released)

(i wish i could find a source for the JDM inspire folding mirror switch [the blank beside the interior dimmer], that would work even better!)

VSA will always reset itself to ON whenever the vehicle is turned off and back on.
