car got jacked....

I was at San Antonio for the whole thanksgiving break, and flew back up to Salt Lake sunday night. i decided to stay a night there at my cousins house to rest up before getting back on the road up to Idaho.

At around 5:45 or so, i hear my car alarm all of a sudden going off. So i check outside, my trunk is opened, my sub/amp everything is gone. My wires were cut off. I go to the driver side of the car and........my window was completely gone....shattered everywhere all over my seat.

took a look inside....my entire center deck was completely ripped out wood trim all ripped off as well.
they even took my luggage......which wasnt even necessary

i reported it and everything. cops said they will TRY to investigate on this. which i think is probably a waste of time because they don't seem to be capable to do anything. It took them over an hour to come to the scene.....

i would post some pictures but its on another camera and i cant find my usb adapter yet....

That's messed up. I hope those thieves get caught but you know karma will get them. Your alarm should have went off when they opened your door though....hmm. They also knew what was in your car hmm.

I'm sorry to hear that. You can never have anything nice. Hopefully they will get what they deserve one day.

Always sad to read these stories.... betta didn't have a motion detector with your alarm. They broke the window and crawled in?

That sucks, Sorry man.

You can add a shock sensor to the stock alarm. This will improve it. The alarm will sound once the window is broken. Why there's not 1 stock I don't know. That's really dumb.
I have 2 of them. 1 near the bumper & another at the trunk.
The links should be in the FAQ to install them.

This is what you need to do.............

1. I always have my little trunk opening door from the back seat locked.

2. Master switch to the trunk in the glove box turned off. (Can still access with keyles remote)

3. Lock the glove box.

If this was done they probably would have not wasted the time to try and find out how to open the trunk. You know what I mean.

Of all places I would think Salt Lake would be the last place to get your car broken into.

yeah....i kinda thought the same

funny thing is....there was a civic down the street that also had its window shattered and everything that same morning......

you'd think most civics these days would have a really high sensitivity alarm

about the bad luck . . .

theft always seems to go up this time of year . . . I also heard theft is going up on a regular basis as asswipes like these will try and sell the stuff on eBay or some other online forum. Might want to take a peek and see if some stuff is out on eBay with a seller in that area.
