VSA and ABS lights stay on

Earlier this week when i started up my car, the VSA, ABS, and the VSA exclamation light lit up and stayed on. They seem to stay on for as long as the car is on, then if i shut it down, and restart they don't come on. But then they do this about once out of every 5 starts. Anyone ever have this happen? The maintenance light just came on too, that stays on regardless now. It is going in to the dealer later this month so I will find out eventually.

I want to test it out to see if the vsa is off when the light is on.

maintenance light comes on when you should get your car in for scheduled maint. i.e. 30k, 60k i know there are several other intervals all listed in the manual. Most people on here who have that happening to them usually meant the tranny was going....happened to me once and hasnt happened since and that was at least 4 or 5 months ago, so im hoping im in the clear..

That happened to me after the CL-S was on a dyno for the emissions test. I think the fact the front wheels were moving and the rear weren't confused the ECU.
After a short drive and turning the car off and on overnight it went away.

...but like evilstorm said, those are also trannydeath symptoms. Although I wouldn't be too worried unless the lights go on while I'm driving.

well i have about 53000 miles, maybe its telling me to do the 55000 mile check up or something. but as far as the tranny, this is my second, and it was just in for the recall fix so i thought i was past all of that drama. i guess i will just have to wait and see when i take it in. actually if it is something major, the tranny would be the best since i am out of warranty on everything else.

Mine came on at 7,282 miles, and wouldn't go off. The Dealer said there was no abs or traction control.
They replaced : vsa unit part #39780-s3m-a91
No further problems.
