I saw this viper we were in traffic, I got behind him and followed him for a few minutes through traffic. Then we stopped at a light. I was behind him in the left turn lane. We were about to get on a straight road with three lanes, when he made a snake symbol with his hand. Then the light turned green and this motherfucker hit the gas and he was gone. I hit 100 mph and he was ahead by more than 30 car lengths. Then he slowed down and told me he hit 140 in 4th gear. I always loved those cars and that made me want on even more. I got shitted on!!!

 

An NSX did that to me once (in my Accord). I loved it! I wish I had the CL then, would have given him a run

My dad has a 1996 911 twin turbo he leaves the keys with me sometimes to wash. I always make sure I take it for a spin every time I wash it. If I had that I would be able to take him for a 1/4 mile but after that I'm sure the V10 8.0 would take over.

 

hahah. great story- I can't beleive he made the snake symbol with his hand. I know its corny but I'm gonna try that in my Cobra the next time a civic revs its engine at me.

 

Thats cool. I ran into a viper and passed him to try and get him to take off on me. He got the picture and just took the fuck off! That was awesome! I was in so much awe I missed my exit!

 

I got caught one time next to two of my buddies one in a viper the other in a z06 on I-10. They basically trapped me in the middle and made me look stupid like 100000000 times. Pull away slow down...... It is sick how fast those cars are. Until you drive one you can't imagine. In my opinion the z06 is a much better car because you could actually drive it everyday without losing your hearing.

 

I may be a little slow, but I was wondering what the "snake symbol" is? How do you make it? Let me know.

vipers are ok.. drinks too much GAS imo.. id take a BPU supra anyday which will eat a viper GTS and a Z06 anyday.anynight.

As for the snake symbol
Step1- put your hand up with your palm facing you.
Step2- put all your fingers down except the middle & index
Step3- then curl your the remaining two halfway down

it should look like the viper sign- the guy was a dork with a fast car

 

There are a lot of people down here in KC, near overland Prk that have vipers. Black, red, yello, and white. The guy with the black 1999 one just bought a brand new one also. F*ckers around here have way too muh money. They need to give some of it to me.

 

I raced a 01 Viper from a light once. I hung through first (he spun BAD). Second, he pulled a little more than a car. Third he was GONE! I did better than I thought I would, but still got raped. At the next light, he said he had Hennessey headers and exhaust (I think that costs like $2000+).

Sweet cars. Too bad I don't have gears yet. I might of beat him at least to the 1/4 mile mark........

 

Some of those run VERY LOW 12's or 11's with only header/exhaust/intake type mods! That is... if they hook up

 

Actually any 96+ Viper will run 11.6-.11.8 with a good driver bone stock.
