i have debadged whole trunk lid cuz i didnt like the 3.2 cls and acura letters also i removed the acura emblem and i just put 07 tl type s sign. it looks good to me. but your look not in my taste. take off the 3.2 cls

 

CL ass too big for only a tiny Type S emblem to fill it.

If I didn't know that was intentional, and saw it out on the street, my knee jerk would be "so it's been repainted....by Maaco from the look of the emblems being sprayed."

I like it paint matched, but it just doesnt look right on the drivers side.

 

^i'm feeling it as well just not sure of the driver side placement...pretty cool "minor" mod

 

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I'm just used to seeing the model on the driver's side like with Mercedes because I work at an MB dealership. Besides, I like it better on that side because when someone is behind me the model type is right in front of them.

Good Photoshop! I've seen many Lexus with this on them but not subtle enough for me. Black chrome finish can look good on a gray car though.

 

I LOVE black chrome. I wish Honda sold the kit for the CL (some dealers had it for the TL). I tried using that spray on hobby tint and it didnt stick too well. I dont know how to get it to stick without scuffing it up and losiing the luster.
