Versus install

I'm looking to buy a versus kit for my 01 cls for the summer. I'm working out a deal right now! So I was wondering if you guys could fill me in with your weath of knowledge about this kit! Install time?, price to paint? Price to install?. And what type of paint?. I have a night hawk black Cl. So i'm guessing something that flexes!
Does anyone know of a good place to get all this done in the reading philly area?
P.S Pic's of your cars with the kit on would be nice so I can see what the fisished product will look like!
Thanks Fellas!

Unfortunately I can't help with most since I don't have the Versus kit... but i can say that the price to paint and the price to install will vary based on location. Best thing to do is to call around to local shops and get several quotes.

As for install time, if there's no fabrication required (which there shouldn't be) it shouldn't take more time then the stock kit would which is around an hour to an hour and a half....

Call these people, I know they have other locations, Maybe north of Philly. They repaired my car after an accident, did a good job. Can't tell the paint is different or anything.

$200 to $1000...that's about as good a stab as you're going to get.

Depends on who does it & how much work is put into the fit/finish.

200 to 1000? If they tell you anything less than 800 then run. I'd say for awesome work look to pay anything from 800 to 1200. Rondog had his kit done for around 1G.

That was my point...depending on if he just gets it painted, or if it's painted &&& installed...it's gonna vary. ALSO*** some of the Versus kits need some TLC before paint...some have large nicks & need sanding...some are just about perfect.

$1,000 for install & paint, etc sounds like a good round number though...and from Rondogs pics, it looks like he got pretty decent results.

This is true. The kit (I am selling) has some of these blemishes that came directly that way from the group buy. BTW they were just shoved into a small box with no packaging, I will do better. I asked Blackbanshee to start this thread to get an idea of what working with a e-thene kit is like. The kit will distort in a cramped box and take on shape again once it is freed. Also during the painting process flex agents must be added as well to the paint and clear.

BTW chris3240929: Weren't you the one who hooked me up with my grilles? I have had a lot of people asking about them. Thanks
