I forgot to post this but last week I found myself lined up agains a brand new Audi S4. It was yellow and the driver had a hot little blonde sitting in the passenger seat. I noticed the guy kept really getting on it coming off of every light. So I caught him at one finally and decided to play with him. We both started at about 25mph roll. I was expecting to get spanked by a turbo on a roll but was surprised when i pulled a bit. The pul was for a very short period of time, but he never made up any of the ground. He was very determined to catch me, I guess because he was showing off for the chick. We came up on an over pass that curved and kept accelerating all the way through it. The CL started getting a little sloppy but I still stayed out front and kept the distance that I had establish. I was very shocked at this he finally gave up and then I let off.

 

Holy shit, maybe it was an 03. There is no way that car had 340HP.

If the car is an auto b5 then I think the CLS6 is a lil bit faster.

 

there's no way in hell....my gf has a s4 turbo stick..it happens to be yellow too..that car will SPANK me CL, (it's chipped, got exhaust, more to come) anyways, her car is QUICK as fuck..even from a roll...maybe he was in 5th at 25...shrugs..

 

He must not have been trying....at all. I am pretty sure that everyone on this board knows that a Stock 03 CL-S, 6sp or not, isn't going to take a new S4, or M3, or M5, or RS6, or any high-powered sport sedan or coupe.

An old S4 maybe, but definately not a new one.

 

if u read he said that it wasn't the new v8 s4...so it was the previous model w/ the 6'er...if you think about it, he could of had a chance from a roll...he did have an extra 100lbs of tits in his car ...plus he sounds like a dumbass who can't drive. I'm sure he had a chance. Good job.

That doesn't quite make sense.

 

A stock 04 S4 is running 0-60 in 5.5 so a well driven CL-S 6 speed would hang but not leave the Audi behind.

 

That is what i meant guys. I assumed the car was brand new because it was immaculate, but once I did the research and saw the new S4 HP I knew there was no way it was an 04. It had to have been an older stock S4.

Some of the latest magazines put the new s4 in the low low low 13's. This is just in response to someone saying the new s4 only runs a 5.5 0-60 so it would be neck and neck with a 6spd. CL-S.

 

stock to stock versus the 2.7T S4, it would be a nice run.

The new S4 with the V8 is much faster than the stock 2.7T S4. Especially from a roll. THe New S4 runs mid 13's stock I believe.

I dont see anything fishy with a CL-S keeping up, ahead on with a stock S4 2.7T from a rolling start.
This is based on stock to stock comparison.

OK...w/ the old style S4...it must be stock and off a roll for u just to hang w/ it. And if it's the new style S4...u ain't touching it...they did a test on it vs the new M#...it was like .3sec slower than the M3. Maybe he just had S4 badges on it or sumthn

I've smoked a biturbo S4 also. It was loaded with 4 people, but even so, I smoked him pretty bad.

 

thats about 450 extra lbs with those 3 other people. Thats a huge amount of weight to handicap someone. Was this from a standing start or highway?. To smoke someon on the highway you must have a pretty big advatage in power. in fact a BIG difference in HP.
