Has anyone installed a Venom 400 on his or her 3.2CL Type S? Is it worth the $300? Do you have a quantifiable performance data? What about drivability. How's the performance of the automatic tranny?

Venom claims performance enhancement of up to 25%. That means the Type S could push close to 325Hp! That's quite substantial, and I'm a little skeptical.

Unlike an ECU PROM flash, I like the option of being able to turn the Venom off when it's effects are unwanted. I think the best ECU upgrade would give the driver the ability to select the desired engine mapping given the driving requirements. Something like a "performance" mode and a "standard" mode... or a gradient within similar to BMW's 7 user-selectable levels with the SMG option.
