Vacuum Hose Replacement

While doing a seafoam treatment I noticed that the vacuum hose was nicked. Anyone know the part number? I assume it has to be OEM so it is the proper length and gauge. Can't seem to find it at http://www.acuraoemparts.com but I may not be looking under the right sub-category.

just go to auto zone (or similar) and match it up. they should have vacuum lines by the mile.

What is the functionality of this vacuum hose? I'm just trying to better familiarize myself with all the components.

You say that it's nicked, what problems can arise from that?

What do your mean by nicked? Does it have a hole, or is it just scuffed? You can wrap some electrical tape around the area on the hose as a temp solution.

But replacement is easy, just take the hose out & go to any auto store. They have vacuum line on reels. Get the proper diameter & then get the hose cut to the right length.

Line has a slit in it that is leaking air. Any idea about the length? Does it have to be precise, or in the ballpark? I will just use the old line and measure but I know my old one is about 2 inches short.

just match the old one. it doesn't have to be precise but be in the ballpark at least.
