you should take him pretty easy. cause your 200 hp(assumeing your in a 98-02 V-6). usually a pipe only adds 5 hp(at the most) so they only had 160 HP (out of the factory) then the pipe(that's saying that's their only mod) 165 HP.(only thing you gotta worry about them is weight) with my car. when the old Si's were still hot(the one's that actually looked good:P )(the coupes) there was a lot of kids from my college that had them.(their a good college kid car there cheap, fun and you can mod them pretty easy). but I would run even with my Accord with the old Civic Si's(stock) (I haven't seen the hatchback at my college ) I was pretty good friends with a guy that had a bright blue one(he was a nice guy) and we always would race and almost the whole way we'd be even. well it was a Friday and being a nice friend I was just B.Sing with him so i said "what are you doing this weekend Steve"
he said nothing major just a little work on the Si. so i thought no big deal he might put clear tailights or clear the front turn lights(nothing major) he comes back on monday. and says "Derek(that's me),lets run. I said "alright"so we line up(like usual at this old airstrip we know the owner he doesn't charge us) so he takes off it's same old through gear 1 and 2. then he's gone. my jaw on the ground. of course he smoked me. I got out the car afterwards and said what the hell did you do to your car this weekend. he said oh yeah i added a jackson S/C

From a stop, my 02 TL-P can never get more than a 1/4 length from my Accord. From a hwy roll, 2nd to 3rd gear I can take the TL-P easily. Never had a problem with a EK Si and no problems with a EP Si either, tho the extra torque from the K20 give sit a lil betetr launch

mm......that sounds interesting. tl-p runs anywhere from 15.3-15.6, av6 does it in 15.8-16.1. my friend has a 99 acrrod v6 with I/H/E and sparks cannot break 15.5 at the track so i donno

i have raced many av6 before, never had any problems with them.
in fact i just raced one couple weeks ago. from around 40-85 i beat him easily

my car only has an intake

The race with the Si wasnt that great..cause i had people in my car. It lasted for like 5 seconds. Cause we both had to turn. It was on our way back to Inn Out.
