just wondering if any one has put this on their cls ,because its only listed for the cl 3.2 and does not list the cls. just was wondering if it fits the cls. because the cold air intake are two different part #s thanks for any help

 

From what I heard they just have the V2 for the CL-P. I know the regular aem cai for the cl-s and cl-p are different and wont fit each other.

 

i got mine for a 3.0 1998...its fuckin awesome

 

local performance shop told me that its not worth the extra $$$
get the AEM CAI

me-- has CL+V2

get the V2, if it doesnt fit right, sell it to a 1st gen'er

 

It won't fit on the Type-S, only the CL-P

 

what is the difference between the two? I have a CL-P, shoud I get the v2 over the other one?

 

The V2 is supposed to be the "next generation" of intakes from AEM. Their website claims additional gains over their regular intakes, however, we haven't seen any independant dynos since 99% of this board owns a Type-S and there's no application for it.... so you'd have to go on the work of AEM. I'm sure it's better, but how much better and if it's worth it remains to be determined....

 

V2 = Gimmick
