V2 headers any good and where to buy

Hi guys, I am debating whether to get V2 intake or the regular AEM ones. Is there a definite increase with the V2's over the regular AEM? Is the extra 60 dollars justified in the price increase? Also where is the cheapest place to buy them or where have you guys bought them from that is reliable?

thanks so much

First off...do you have a Type-S or the Premium. The V2 is only for the premium. V2s and regular CAI are pretty much the same power wise.

if you're thinking about the V2, do it. the gains aren't huge, but definitely noticable (my tires chirp on a hard start and from 1st to 2nd). The only drawback is that at times there's a little resonance, but it's mostly negligible unless you're sitting with your ear next to the filter or if you have no stereo in your car and all you have to listen to is the sound of your engine.
oh and speaking of the sound, the tone at WOT is to die for.
overall i'm very happy with mine.
