V1 Saves, Maybe

So i drop my daughter off at school yesterday morning and as soon as i leave the parking lot my KA band starts going, and then really going. I drive about 3 blocks to turn left and it's on full alert. Now the last few weeks they have had one of those warning trailers parked in the area, but its always been K band so i knew Officer Bob was lurking. Sure enough about 3 blocks up on the left is the Officer just sitting there with the radar mounted on the dash. Now, i've got kids and don't speed around school, but it's 20mph where he was and who knows if you've got your mind on work or whatever and God forbid you get it up to 30 !! Probably a ticket. So i was glad for this alert, and i passed him at 19 mph and just smiled at him. Thanks V1

V1 and Passport 8500 are excellent detectors. The ONLY ones worth buying IMO. Always great to know that you have an extra set of eyes watching for people who have quotas to meet.

a brand new V1 from www.valentineone.com will cost you 399.99 plus shipping...on ebay they can be had for about 350-380...but BEWARE as more often than not, the ebay ones are older versions that require over 100 bucks of upgrades to be as good as the brand new one

X band is usually crap like garage doors or microwave ovens at Burger King. K band used to be #1 for cops and is still used, but KA is king now and if you pick it up you slow down NOW !!!!!

You are correct sir. Be careful on E-Bay not to get an older model that needs an upgrade. V1 Rocks.
