How big of a drop has everyone done with lowering springs??
what is the usual for frond/rear??
what is safest for our CL-S?

mine are the H&R sports and they lower about 1.75 i believe... and they are just perfect

See the FAQ in my sig for answers to most of your questions.

All of your major spring brands are SAFE with the stock car.
However, it's only when you start mixing it up with tires/shocks
that you can have combinations that rub.

If you are worried about a particular combination, then you can
post and ask about it.
