UR Pulley Install

i get my UR Pulleys tomorrow!!! anyone do the install themselves??? you have any tips or pointers for me??? and special tools i should invest in before i get into it??? any help would be greatly appreciated

yes, its a pain in the ass. have a 3-4 ft breaker bar on hand for the crank bolt, the easiest way is to start the car but take off the dist. so it doesnt start up. its pretty straight forward, just a pain.

I paid a local shop $80 to do the install for me. It looks kinda tight in there and I don't want to scratch my gorgeous hands...

make sure u have the tool to take the stock pulley off

My mechanic pulled out the alternator to better access the crank pully etc.

Keep an eye on them for the first few days and make sure the bolts don't loosen. My PS pulley nut was actually coming loose about a week after the install.

i just got them, but i think they sent me an alternator pulley for a 97-99...

That's the same thing my guy did as well. Not much room to work with in the CL's engine bay.

can any of you guys go check the part # on your alternator pulley??? they sent me 0106310, but i think it should be 0106311

nevermind... i just got an email that the distributor screwed up and they sent me the wrong one...
