Last night me and a shitload of my friends went out to dpa. Well on the way out there, we saw a red s4 that wanted to race my friend's audi(he has a 2.8 with the rs4 front) and he wouldn't race him so i did on the LIE from about 65-90 and i kept pulling. Definitely fun. So on the way home it was empty road, So me in the left lane, My friends LS1 z28 in the middle and my friends WRX in the right lane. We were all at 65ish...i honked 3 times and went, the wrx fell back first and my friends z28 was at my back bumper at about 115. We did this about 3 times and each time i won. Then We got to a stoplight and me and wrx were in front so we go and i was at his back door up to about 65 then just pulled and pulled up until about 90, it was fun and i was on such an ego trip.

It's amazing what kind of a different animal the CL-S 6spd is compared to the slushbox. I wish I had the balls to trade up for one...

Damn Rob, you must have a beast on your hands to be running an LS-1 w/out gas....ive ran into a few off the bottle, but didnt win, they were slightly modded, but still...anyways, good runs, just dont catch the S4 from a stop, i pulled 3 cars on a modded GSX Eclipse yesterday from a roll, but im sure i wouldve had to play catch up if it was from a stop.....

is the ls1 a auto or manual rob??

in the 6sp is a 65roll like 4k in 3rd??

 

ok now rob, i believe ur kill BUT...

the ls1 puts down more than 50 hp to the wheels and i dont even know how much more torque than your car, so somethin is either wrong w/ the z28 or maybe he wasnt in the proper gear from the 65 roll

see i wish my friends with the camera were behind me but they were filming him race a mustang gt in his jetta. Next time i'm filming it.

 

u aint gotta film it rob, i believe your kill but what i'm saying is that the z28 is a mid 13 sec car, your car prolly runs low 14's, high 13's w/ DR's, so lets just say the z28 is 1/2 a sec quicker, at the track it would win by around 5 cars given equal r/t's
