I don't know man, my seats are pretty damn comfy.

What area specifically? The sides? Butt? Lower back? Shoulders? Neck?

Isn't there a lumbar lever?

Maybe he is talking about the driving position. I love my seats, but the driving position sucks because we don't have a telescoping steering wheel. If our cars had the telescoping steering wheel, the seats AND the driving position would be heavenly. The way it is now, I also find myself messing with my seats every couple of days because whenever I find a comfortable seating position, the steering wheel seems too far away. I KNOW this has been discussed before. Maybe part of the problem is the driving position caused by the non-telescoping wheel.

I was sure the non S type seats were more comfortable than the S type bucket seats. But now I think it gets down to personal preference. I started this thread a while back, and I am happy to say that I am finally getting used to my seats. I believe that when you buy a used car, you need to allow some time for the seat foam to readjust to your body shape.

if i could i would put 88 bmw 325 IS seats in every car i owned. they are recaros, and they are perfect. or 91 sentra se-r seats. my type s seats were uncomfortable when i first bought it. it took a while for me to get used to them.

I've had mine for 2.5 yrs and still dont really feel comfortable in the car. The seats are too high, the steering wheel doesnt tilt down far enough and could really benefit from a telescoping option. Otherwise the seat is comfortable, I just cant sit back as far as I like since I like to rest my left arm on the top of the steering wheel and the steering wheel doesnt tilt down far enough.

BTW 6'0" 170lbs

My Mustang is the complete opposite, great steering wheel position, great pedal length, but the seats get uncomfortable after about an hour and dont have big enough bolsters. Oh well, cant have it all I guess.

I'm 6'4", 235lbs. My type-s seats are comforatable, but the non-telescoping steering wheel can sometimes be uncomfortable. However, I should mention that the seating position is too high for tall drivers. This is the first car I've owned where the top of my head grazes the ceiling when I drive in an upright position (even when the seat bottom is in the lowest position). My wife's vw beetle is roomier and more comfortable than the cl. Shame on Acura for producing a luxo sport coupe in 2003 that doesn't have a telescoping steering wheel.
