UhOh... WTH?!?
Ok CL gurus, help me out. The car starts, is idling very rough, about 1500 rpm, check engine light and VSA are on, but not flashing, temp is normal. I can turn the car off and it starts back up, but still idles rough. I don't want to put it in drive.
What could it be??

It didn't do it while you were driving? You just got in the car and it started doing that? If you press the VSA button, does anything happen? What happens when you rev the motor in park or neutral?
And what part of Fort Worth are you in?

It's the weirdest thing, it only happened when I was in park. I got on the highway, put it in sportshift, went WOT a few times, and it went away. Strange. I was in the Mid Cities, but live in Benbrook.

Swing by an Autozone and see what codes are setting off the CEL. Easy and free start to what could be anything... Benbrook explains why I haven't seen your car around.

Strange, I just got the same VSA lights and CEL on today as well. Got a EGR Valve insufficient flow code and third gear switch need to be replaced. Only difference is mine idles fine and drives fine, but when I pull up to a stop sometimes it drops the rpms kinda low then it goes back to normal idle on its own. Oh and btw just in case you don't know, the OBD II plug in is between the seat heater buttons behind the plastic piece that pops out. I didn't know that lol spent like 10 minutes trying to figure it out.

Yea, there's a sticker under the steering wheel indicating where the OBDII port is. The first time I ever got my codes read, the AutoZone guy was soooo lost. Then made a crack at small Japanese hands. Those damn Japs in Ohio

misfire should misfire regardless of idle or driving city/highway...
does it shake hard and CEL flash if you gun it?
when was the last time you tuned-up your car?
can be bad spark / fuel filter

Ok guys, I found out what the problem was, and boy, am I a dumbass.
1st of all, the clamp from my AEM intake pipe to the throttle body had come loose, which caused my entire assembly to rotate counter clockwise about 2 to 3 inches. This caused the bottom angle of the intake to poke through a crack in my driver side wheel well guard and rub against the tire. My tire had rubbed a hole in my intake pipe, causing too much air through the throttle body. This is what was causing the high revving at idle and lost of power. I don't know how I didn't notice this before.
So, I super-wrapped the pipe in duct tape, tightened all the screws and reordered an intake pipe from AEM. It's running fine for now, just glad I didn't eff up the throttle body.
