TypeR -- what is your mix of WW + coolant + water

TypeR:

Did you modify your coolant mix in your Acura?

OR Did you just add the water wetter? (Forget about the high-pressure radiator cap issue -- I ran one in my bimmer, removed the engine driven fan, changed the radiator, and installed an electric thermostatically operated electric fan and added water wetter with 20% glycol, ~70% water, and the rest WW (Water Wetter).

So, what mix are you using in your CLS?

TIA

1. The Bimmer with the stock fan + super wide radiator would work on the freeway at speed, but would overheat in traffic (when over 80 degrees).

2. So, I needed cooling when moving in slow traffic. The high-speed electric fan made the biggest difference in cooling down the car in all conditions and removing the parasitic loss from the engine driven fan. (I could NOT tell any difference in cooling with the engine fan gone. There was more top end power!)

3. The cold temp thermostat + WW dropped the needle from a bit above half way up the gauge to just below the gauge. With just the low-temp thermostat, it never would get below the middle of the gauge. IMO -- Bimmers run HOT and I think the stuff really helped with the heat transfer in the engine.

Moral of the story -- Bimmers (or at least mine) needed all the help it could get and the WW helped in ALL conditions.

I'm leaning towards putting it in the CLS
