Two Throttle Bodies? how to install a intake on a type-s
Trending Topics
does anyone know what would happen if you took out the throttle body plate out of the vsa unit ? or what would happen if you completely took it out the unit?? i know theres a few threads on this but i could not find any explanations on how to bypass the vsa successfully. thanks
no, not because of a wrong sized intake but because of a restriction of airflow. I plan on porting my throttle body, intake manifold etc down the road and don't see a point in porting the vsa unit if i can just get rid of it all together. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I'm kinda in the same boat.
I want to know when my type s motor is installed in my base cl (clp) if I will get a cel not using the vsa with a type s ecu.
And if I will get a light how to go around it.

Maybe this will help...https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ght=vsa+delete
You have to trick the ecu like it's still there. You do not wrong and of course you end up with a CEL and major loss of power due to the ecu freaking out.

so then if you delete the vsa you're in the same boat as the 6 speeds.
the 6 speed intake will go right to the throttle body at the manifold.
or you'll need to mod a lil something up
