Turning on fog lights only . . .

Is this possible and how would I be able to do it? Like on the first click when turning on your headlights. Thanks.

well if you get some aftermarket fog lights then it should come with a switch

but if you are refering to the roadlamps well you have to re-wire it to a external switch

I don't remember if the CL's got a switch for the roadlamps. I'm assuming it does....so the instrution should be the same.

Well autocarparts has a inspiron foglight switch for the tls and cls to fit that null black space beside the sunroof switch. If someone can rewire the roadlamp wires and some electrical stuff to connect to that, that would be cool. Otherwise, the roadlamps can be rewired to the side markers. There was a faq some where on this board for that. (Using a CLS not a tl.)

I installed the Inpsire/TL foglight switch and just re-ran the wires so I could always have control of the road lamps. It was a task but I think it was worth it.

Hey Webtoker.... please post a guide for that process. I have been trying to figure out how to rewire everything but, I am not a electrical/tech guy for that. I can waste a day learning tho!

I have an 03 cls with 01 cl fog lamps, used a 95 accord switch and am able to have only fogs on. Just wired it through the firewall to the battery with an in-line fuse

actually, i just wanted to wire these up to the parking lights so when i turn those on, the lamps come on too.

So could i just wire the positive and neg to the parking lights (the ones that comes on with the first click of the switch) with the car and it'll work?
