Not sure where to post this, if wrong place sorry. Does anyone make turbos for our cars? A friend of mine has a vw jetta gli and it kicks w/ it's turbo. Just wandering.

 

xs turbo kits, check their site and ebay. a new kit was designed that the turbo is mounted where the mid muffler would be. no one has do that.but search and u will find info on this site.

If you have the patience you can make a turbo kit yourself.

 

yup, cant agree more. thats what i did, just make sure u plan out what u want and do research

 

time consuming aint it? fun tho! you have a shop or a fabricator? hows that turbo coming? i was giving serious thought into going all out with a turbo and a 6spd swap...but im just gonna get an NSX and go all out on that. keep the CL blown @ 6psi as a DD.

 

no shop or fabricator. just lots of research and my garage. with tools of course

 

it's not a xs turbo kit. the builder(CTS) is located near me and will be installing the kit on my car soon enough.

^ not sure yet. i met up with the owner yesterday and he is planning on building a few kits if there is any interest. so the more interest the less the cost. my car will be the test cl-s. he does have a prototype kit on his accord/j32a2 and that thing moves when he took me for a drive.

he is in beaverton and hopefully the kit will be put together within the next couple weeks. i want to test it out at PIR before the summer ends.
