Nice! You can also put more than one picture into one post if you didn't already know. Just repeat the process for each link

and if someone has something negative to say please keep it to yourself! This is my first turbo car and turbo install. I had no previous knowledge of how this shit works and installed EVERYTHING BY MYSELF in my apartment complex with basic tools, miter saw, and saw zaw. But I will tidy everything up once I get it running right.

hell no. He had the sts rear turbo setup on his camaro and had nothing but bad stuff to say. He did all the tedious work like the timing belt, water pump, clutch and flywheel, and also I had it towed to him when my turbo piping had burned through the wiring harness. But I did all the install myself. I also still have to install the injectors, fuel rail, fpr, and methanol kit!

If I did write that anywhere, my bad I maybe wasnt paying attention to what I typed but I had no help on the install! If I did, it would have been done alot sooner!!

ULol i realized that after i finished all that crap lol. And of course there is a hater at 230 in the morning. The point is i have a turbo cls 6 speed and u dont! If u have something better, i would be more than happy to see it. And as everyone knows, no turbo kits are made for our cars, so it was either spend 1200 or more having q custom manifold made or buy the obx header for the j30 and modify it. And the only other thing that i didnt waste money on was the turbo itself. Why waste 1300 or more on a greddy to boost 6 lbs when i can just buy that one and run through 6 of them or more before i amount to the price i pay for greddy??? Weellll maybe you will argue that i will not make much power on cheap turbo?..... My internals are not forged so my absolute max is 400whp anyway. Also i still have an aem meth kit for the power boost if needed but for now its just for safety. also i still have to have to have the 1000 dollar fuel setup installed sooooo this setup isnt as cheap as u think. oh and lets not forget about the 500 dollar fee to tune the car for a base tune. but i plan on having another tune for meth too so thats 1000 dollars total in tuning. oh yea lets not forget about the extra 2500 dollars i spent on parts and labor to have timing belt, water pump, front and rear main seals, cam seals, clutch, flywheel, etc done!!!!!! Whew sorry peeps, just had to get that out since owl boy thinks its cheap to put a turbo on a car!!! And sorry for the bad spelling, im on my phone at work right now because they blocked azine!!! Assholes!!!!

Impressive that you did all this yourself

How tough was the battery relocation? That's definitely on my to-do list.

It wasnt too hard. I ran 0 gauge wire and i ziptied the wire along the cage under the car that protects the fuel lines. There is a rubber gromet that pops out under tue rear driver side seat that u can pull the wire through. Now tue wire that originally ran through there will have to be cut so that ou can take tye original gromet off and replace it with anotuer one that will fit all the wires through. Then i grounded the battery on tue trunk latch ajd there is a hole that u can pull the ground wire through alont the side of tue body. You will see what im talking about when u acrually do it. Reuse your original battery tiedown. U dont need an aftermarket one.

Hey diddy i got a new phone and dont hqve your number anymore so def hit me up so i can save it. As for civic driver, what r u talking about. I simppy stated my reasoning for what i chose to do with my turbo setup. I dont know if he was expecting some super twin turbo setup that put down 3000hp or something. But when i put thousands of dollars into a project and two weeks of my time and then post pics n vid for everyone that actually wanted to see and take in the info, then someone comes on and pretty much trashes my work, then yes i will defend myself. Again, i didnt call him names or curse him out, i gave a brief explanation of what i did and why. So please dont make it bigger than it is. Your and his comment could have been better left unsaid. Thanks for thw interest though.

To me, his post was just a question. Fact is, it looks just like the ebay kits. Thats not saying its a bad thing. I dont think it warranted a post such as yours. Its the internet, grow some thicker skin.

One last thing, people this post was originally started to thank everyone that provided priceless info that allowed me to complete my car. It just so happen to kind of turn into a you ask and i tell kind of thing. I dont mind answering questions providing wiring diagrams or taking comments or even providing my number to talk in person. Im all about helping because i dojt want anyone to be stuck like i was. But please just respect my work because i put alot into it for someone to say it looks like ebay or for someone to tureaten that i will not last long. Thats not cool. But again thanks for everyones help and support that showed interest.

i was speaking about getting the spool up guys.
when you are out of boost you can lean out the mixture and increase timing, this creates a faster spool-up time and then you can retard when boost comes in.

do i have to explain everything!

I agree with civicdrivr after reading your responses i was litle shocked. You are not gonna make to many friends on here. Eryk did not say anything that could upset anyone in my opinion. Just try to be cool and nice. Try to keep your posts clear and nice because i already have some hesitatetion to read this. More good quality pictures and some cool video will make people here happy. We're here to help, share stuff, have fun but not to argue and curse. I hope u understand

ON A NEW NOTE: I suggest you should figure out a way to get your downpipe to sit higher so that you don't have to raise up the front of the car . Other than that, your build is coming along great and this kind of thing just takes time and patience to complete. Ignore the responses you don't want to hear, and reply to the ones that are important

yea maybe I took it the wrong way but, whatever. Its dropped and Im cool. Like I said I am here to help and get help. My wife is a photographer and I will have her take some professional pics once the bay is degreased and the car is washed. As for the down pipe, I will get a pic of that one day but it is tucked as high as it can go. As a matter of fact, when the motor gets torquey the pip will vibrate against the subframe. I think Im going to next wrap it with heat shrink. ( a lil extra in the vibration spot) And hopefully that will help out. So now Im open to criticism and opinions. I promise I wont go hulk style on yall!! lol
